Flight Attendant Who Lost Her Job In Lockdown Turned To Drug Dealing

flight attendant who started drug dealing after losing her job during the coronavirus lockdown has been jailed.

Alexandra Florentina Dobre, 27, was found to have a stash of drugs hidden away inside the wrappers of a ‘well-known confectionery brand’ beside her bed.

The court heard that Romanian national Dobre had previously worked for several different airlines at Luton Airport but that she lost both her ‘well paying’ job and her accommodation earlier this year when lockdown restrictions came in.

Dobre, who was described as ‘at a loose end’ without her job, then moved to Staffordshire after meeting a man on a dating app who enlisted her a courier, delivering packages of cocaine.
