Female-Led Brands Star In Hollywood Gift Bags

Movies with strong female leads and directors were overlooked this awards season, but the work of plenty of talented women can be found in a Tinseltown swag bag. Gifts from several female-led brands are part of the six-figure-plus stash.

The gift bags are sent to nominees in the categories of Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director and the host of the show (when there is one, at least).  They’re not affiliated with the Oscars or the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, but have been produced by marketing firm Distinctive Assets for almost two decades.

So, what’s in this year’s bag?

To keep their fitness and beauty regimes going, nominees can try 10 free sessions with popular personal trainer AlexiSeletsky or head to New York for the full-body rejuvenation package–hormone testing and balancing and the like–with endocrinologist Rocio Salas Whalen of New York Endocrinology.

Early risers can try a mood-boosting workout at one of Daybreaker’s yoga and dance events in cities around the world.  Daybreaker, founded by motivational speaker and author Radha Agrawal, runs 6 a.m. yoga sessions followed by two-hour dance parties–such as the 600-person one held in San Francisco after Agrawal spoke at Facebook’s 2018 Global Marketing Summit.

Those who prefer a less crowded motivational experience can sign up for a free year-long membership in LiveItUp Life School, another Agrawal-founded company. LiveItUp texts members daily micro-challenges led by experts in their fields, including advice on nutrition from Dr. Mark Hyman, entrepreneurship from John Mackey, and fitness from Nike master trainer Alex Silver-Fagan.
